It's Only Fair
This week I experienced the lure of the local fair with its sugary snacks, stuffed animals, live entertainment, dizzying rides, dozens of vendors (selling everything from taffy and alpaca sweaters to spas and grandfather clocks), and ocean views from the top of the ferris wheel.
