60's Inspired Wedding With A Little Help From Fashion Crimes

On this most love-filled of days (Happy Valentine's Day y'all!), I thought it was more than fitting to introduce you to Rebecca Dreiling and her new hubby Michael Thomas. This gorgeous bride was in search of non-conventional, vintage inspired wedding attire, and found exactly that in the Fashion Crimes venetian lace Demure Sleeve dress. The couple looked jaw dropping, so it is no surprise the pair made an appearance on the Wedding Bells website. Click HERE to view more photos of the babe duo on their special day (all images are courtesy of Sarah e. Evans Photography). Congratulations to you both; we wish you a long life together filled with love and fashion!

Lady In Red

Summer (and yes, it is still Summer for the next 8 days) is the season of nuptials, and we here at Fashion Crimes are ready for you, whether it be the bride, bridesmaids, or guests. Our new friend Evie stopped by to find a fabulous gown for a wedding at Casa Loma, and judging by the pictures she was completely successful!
Below Evie is wearing an Enticing Halter gown in red satin with her boyfriend Scott. She is the definition of radiant, and we totally approve of her choice of silver accessories. Evie, you look slammin'! And might we say, you two are one adorable couple!

Do you have a picture of yourself in Fashion Crimes attire that you would like to share? I would love to blog about it! Send your pics along with a brief description/story to admin@fashioncrimes.ca.

Fashion Crimes in Wedding Bells Magazine

As you flip through your Fall/Winter issue of Wedding Bells magazine, be sure to keep an eye out for two great Fashion Crimes accessories that can worn on your special day, or any day really! The picture above displays one of our many spectacular silk dupioni rosette headbands, which comes in a wide variety of colors and they are on sale right now!!

Here, the lovely lady pictured clings on to an extra long, lucite necklace from Fashion Crimes. The lucite beads are strung together with soft navy tulle, which ties together in a big bow. We love this necklace just as much as Wedding Bells, as this piece can be suitable for any occasion when styled properly. This is one of the many accessories in the Fashion Crimes treasure chest, you must get in here and see to believe it!

Pick of the Day!

The Fashion Crimes pick of the day is the incredible 6-Way Dress! Despite it's name, the dress can be tied over 25 different ways; you just need to get creative. Today we have posted front and back images of 5 different ways to wear it, with each one completely transforming the dress! Everyone of us here at Fashion Crimes has one of these beauties in our closet because they are so versatile, easy to maintain, and best of all, comfortable. This dress is the perfect go-to dress,
as it can be worn casually or to a formal event.

Brides! This is the brides maid dress you have been looking for. You can have your girls wear all them same colour tied up in different styles, or pick a different colour for each dress and tie them all up the same. What makes this dress perfect: your brides maids will easily get more use of the dress, as they will surely wear it again after your special day instead of it living in a garment bag in the closet. Trust me, they will be grateful you opted out of the puffy sleeve,
barbie pink floor length gown!

Pick of the Day!

The theme of today's pick is fabulous lesbian wedding! We have brides of all sorts come into Fashion Crimes for the perfect, unique, and often unconventional wedding dress. Here we combined an assortment of our designs in caribbean dupioni to serve as bridesmaids, and each dress is accessorized with a different black belt (most of which are on sale for 50% off!). These are great choices for the ladies in your bridal party, as they can be worn again after the big day and not just sit in a closet collecting dust.

Nine pretty dresses in a row! From left, Jezebel Tivoli, Venus Wiggle, Venus Tivoli, Holly Boat, Venus Wiggle, Hepbourne, and Venus Wiggle all in caribbean dupioni. The first bride is a black Jezebel Empire Circle with crocheted skirt and white sash, which needs to be seen in the flesh to be truly appreciated. Our second bride is a Vandyke dress in silk drifts fabric with a simple sash to tie in the brides maids colours. The hand woven crystal pink necklace, we call the Queen Mum, adds a subtle touch of color that does not take away from the magnificence of the white gown.

Keep in mind this is one of the many bridal party options we have to offer, and you do not need an appointment, just come on in!

Wedding by the Water

When you step into the wonderful world of Fashion Crimes, you can always count on our amazing staff to go above and beyond to ensure your experience is both joyful and stress-free. This was the experience of Jian, a bride-to-be who was just visiting Toronto and wasn't exactly bridal shopping at the time....until she met Logan. Logan, one of our superstar stylists, showed Jian some of our gorgeous ivory floor length dresses, and she fell in love with a beautiful strapless, silk gown. To give her the full picture (literally), Logan quickly made a tie out of one of our sashes in Jian's wedding colors and posed next to her as her husband! We're so happy your big day was a success; you looked breath taking!!The first picture is taken in the store with our stand-in groom/employee Logan. The second picture shows Jian with her husband on their special day. We all really love her choice of orange and turquoise; nicely done!!
