Rainy days

Wellies are magical on days like that, nothing gets through them and tootsies stay dry.

Got mine courtesy of Blanco (here is the link for them on the online shop, sadly not shipping to Greece yet) but if there were more colours available, I'd buy them all too!

ADVENT DAY 2: OH ALAIA!

Posted by Melanie Rickey, Fashion Editor at Large

Python and snakeskin heels £885 Alaia at Browns
Azzedine Alaia creates the world's most beautiful shoes. The same way Azzedine's clothes are sinuously body-conscious or angled to create new shapes around the body, so his shoes are languidly serpentine, simultaneously coiling about the foot and placing them on a pedestal. No woman can resist the charms of an Alaia shoe. Even Alaia shoe boxes are works of art. With these under your Christmas tree you will feel like Cinderella.

"Cinderella: [singing] A dream is a wish your heart makes when you're fast asleep. Whatever you wish for, you keep. Have faith in your dreams, and someday, your rainbow will come smiling through."

Check out this so bad its good mash up of Disney's Cinderella with some crazy dude rapping badly about shoes over the Glass Slipper scene.

This season might be all about muted jewel tones, but who says we can't wear bright pink and bows when we need cheering up?

Regarding the title of this post, what I initially had in mind was to make a pun with ivy green/league, since those boater shoes are as preppy as it gets, but I couldn't think of anything good so I left it to that.

And yes, boater shoes. Life is not all heels and peeping toes, you know.

(I tried googling and wikiing to find out the difference between boaters and moccasins, but I gave up)

Stripes

BAG/BOLSO: BALENCIAGA, SHOES/ZAPATOS: FRIIS & COMPANY, SHORTS/PANTALONES CORTOS: H&M, SHIRT/CAMISA: H&M

I LOVE STRIPES, ESPECIALLY ON THESE SHORTS I BOUGHT FROM H&M. THIS OUTFIT IS REALLY COMFY AND SUMMERY. THE WEDGES ARE FROM FRIIS & COMPANY AND THEY ARE NOT EXTREMELY HIGH LIKE THE MOST OF MY SHOES. THEY ARE PERFECT FOR THE DAY TIME. I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THEM IN BLACK TOO.
XOXO
ME ENCANTA EL ESTAMPADO DE RALLAS QUE LLEVAN ESTOS PANTALONES. SON MUY CÓMODOS Y FAVORECEDORES. COMBINADOS CON UNA CAMISA ANCHA Y PLATAFORMAS DE FRIIS & COMPANY. IDEALES PARA LLEVARLOS DURANTE EL DÍA. ME GUSTARÍA TENERLOS EN COLOR NEGRO TAMBIÉN.

Grey peeping

fashionarchitect.net_miss_sixty_grey_peep_toes
Remember that shopping trip to Miss Sixty?

Well, here are my new grey platform peep-toes, courtesy of Miss Sixty for our Twingo Miss Sixty collaboration. Extremely comfy despite their height, plus I recently spotted them in tomato red too, on the 5th floor of Hondos Center Kolonaki. Keep that in mind girls, the sales are approaching...

That reminds me, have you entered the contest yet? There are some seriously cute Miss Sixty goodies to be won, not to mention a trip for two to a spa hotel. Hurry up though, cause you only have one week left!
